Media interest began as soon as the car was seen by the public. An invitation was received to appear on Television, in a programme featuring Classic Cars of special interest.

On 11th May 1999, Carlton Television featured the car on "The Motor Show" (No.26). The Bugatti followed an item about a Canadian 1936 Buick, which took King Edward to Downing Street to announce his abdication, before travelling on with Mrs Simpson to a life of exile in France.

Mark Boss (the producer) was particularly interested in the history of the car, and the data which identified the model type. (The range of measurements for the T50GS, including chassis and wheelbase, are not shared by any other Bugatti type).
Filming had been in dull and wet conditions, but the result was excellent.

Sunday 5th September 1999, saw the annual Coventry Shakespeare Run, sponsored by the Institute of Mechanical Engineering. 400 classic cars, motor-cycles and buses took part.
We enjoyed our first event on a perfect sunny day.

Next day, pages 12 & 13 of the Coventry Evening Telegraph, reproduced these photographs of the Bugatti. We look forward to similar outings in the future.
